ProVérte is separating into 2 different companies…

How does it affect you?

What is changing?

ProVérte Wealth & Risk Management is in the process of demerging into 2 separate entities.

A new company, namely ProVérte Risk Management, has been established. ProVérte’s short term insurance department will reside here independently under the direction and leadership of Willie Griessel.

ProVérte’s long term department (investments, life and medical aid funds) will continue to exist in the existing entity with Andró Griessel as managing director.

The long-term department (ProVérte WEALTH) is planning a name change in the near future to create a clearer distinction between the two companies.

Why are we unbundling?

Even though the two divisions share many of its clients, which leaves clients with a “one-stop-shop” experience, the reality is that the two departments have always functioned autonomously, and the operational and long-term strategic challenges that comes with managing two businesses as one, is simply not ideal for any of the 2 departments. The board has therefore decided to return to a collaboration and cross-reference model instead of formally managing it as one business.

How does it affect you as a client?

Hardly at all. You should not experience any disruption or change in service levels. You will continue to work with the same advisers and assistants whom you know and trust. Your business will continue unabated without any interruption.

When will it be finalised?

A demerge takes some time to finalise, and for the time being, it may not seem like anything has changed. However, we wanted you to take note of the upcoming changes to avoid any confusion when things do start changing.
If we foresee that the changes will cause any practical implications for you, as a client, business partner or contact person, we will make sure to communicate with you.

If you have any questions or concerns at this stage, please contact your adviser, or send an email to info@proverte.co.za.
